Cosmic Wonders Ltd is owned and ran by Sophie Carroll.

Sophie has engaged in astronomy outreach with thousands of people since 2020.

She has experience working at observatories, physics laboratories, leading stargazing tours, delivering science workshops for schools, and operating a planetarium.

Sophie is an experienced amateur astronomer, an elected Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society, a member of the British Association of Planetaria, a member of the Institute of Physics, a Dark Sky advocate, and a STEM ambassador (supporting the space inspirations scheme).

Sophie is passionate about championing women in STEM and regularly delivers career talks in schools, inspiring young girls to explore the exciting opportunities available.

Cosmic Wonders Ltd is registered as a Dark Skies Friendly business within the North York Moors National Park.
